H. Polesy & Co Pty Limited (Polesy) is an Australian packaging and textile company with a long and proud history of supporting Australian businesses.

Polesy commenced operation in Sydney in 1950 as a business trading in jute and hessian bags and has grown to become a diverse business operating from offices and warehouses around Australia.

Today Polesy is known for its product quality and customer-centric service. The Polesy team of over 40 employees is focused on delivering quality products and services that enhance the operations of its customers.

Capabilities

Polesy is a full-service supplier of Packaging and Commercial Textiles solutions.

What this means is that Polesy begins each customer relationship by taking the time to understand and appreciate the uniqueness of your business in order to tailor product solutions that enhance your operations and add value to your business.

Once we have an understanding of your needs we recommend product solutions, either using an existing product or developing a custom product with our manufacturing partners to suit your needs.

We then manage the production and ongoing supply of that product to you on a timeline that works for your business.

Our team has many decades of combined experience in product development and a deep understanding of the challenges that need to be met within the industries to which we offer product solutions.

Our graphic design team understands the capabilities of the printing processes that we use and have available to us and are ready to work with you to develop eye-catching and professional designs that enhance the marketability of your products and your brand.

Polesy has offices and warehouses in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adeliade, and Perth with sales and support staff in each location to service the needs of our customers.

Packaging customers in the NT are managed by our WA team and in Tasmania by our Victorian team.

Commercial Textiles customers in NT are managed by our Queensland team and in Tasmania by our NSW team.

History

Polesy is a fourth-generation Australian owned and operated business, established in 1950 by Herbert Polesy as a business trading in hessian and jute bags in Sydney.

We have grown by constantly seeking new markets and researching new packaging and textile products.

Today Polesy has offices and warehouses in the five Australian mainland States and a large staff of experienced personnel with specialties in product development, operations, and customer service.

Herbert Polesy establishes H Polesy & Co

1967

The Company is incorporated in 1967 under the leadership of Herbert’s son, Martin Polesy. 

1985

Martin’s son, Greg Polesy, assumes control of the business.

Quality of our operations – Polesy is proud of its Integrated Management System, which is independently certified on an annual basis to International Management Standards ISO 9001:2015 for Quality, ISO 14001:2015 for Environment and ISO 45001:2018 for Occupational Health & Safety.
